▶ What made you choose FITTERY as your go to meal plan provider?

I first tried FITTERY during another event - I had the Low Fat Hormone Free Teriyaki Chicken Rice - and the first thought that crossed my mind after taking the first few bites was, this meal is well-balanced, delicious, and very satisfying. I could eat it every day. Apart from being delicious, the main reason I chose FITTERY is the fact that there’s a Chinese menu option. Growing up in Taiwan, I ate Chinese-style food at home every day. My mother never liked vey salty or greasy foods, so our home-cooked meals were usually on the lighter side. FITTERY’s Chinese menu dishes taste light and clean. They make me feel closer to home.

▶ How do you currently approach food when it comes to keeping your health goals on track?

Eating to feel good is how I approach food. To me, good is feeling fuelled and satisfied, yet not bloated and sluggish after a meal. I have found that rather than restricting certain foods, such as carbs, completely from my diet, taking a balanced approach is what’s sustainable and makes me feel good. Instead of limiting the food types I eat, it’s payingattention to the quantity of food intake that is more important to helping me stay on track. FITTERY’s portion-controlled meals is just what I need to help me with that.

▶ What do you feel is the best part of going on a FITTERY meal plan?

The best part of going on a FITTERY meal plan is being able to have a healthy and satisfying meal ready in 2 minutes whenever I am ready to eat. As a fitness instructor running around all day between clients’ homes, studios, offices, and schools, sometimes by the time I get to eat I am already so hungry that I end up settling for something that is fast and closest to wherever I am - usually a sandwich or (overly greasy) Cha Chaan Teng chicken and egg over rice. With FITTERY, I don’t have to settle for something unsatisfying - I can have a portion-controlled meal with food I actually want to eat that will make me feel good.

▶ What meals were your favorites in this week’s meal plan and why?

My favorite meal this week was the Thai Low Fat Red Duck Curry with Asian Greens and Chia Seeds Mix Grains. I loved how the duck was flavorful yet not overly salty, and the broccoli mix also had lots of flavours without being overly oily. I also like how the curry came on the side so I could control how saucy I wanted my meal to be.
